HoYoverse unveils Genshin Impact Version 4.2 – “Masquerade of the Guilty” on November 8 in which you and the people of Fontaine will face crises. Additionally, powerful allies – Furina, the Hydro Archon, and Charlotte, a reporter, will be available as playable characters and new underwater regions to explore.
Genshin Impact Version 4.2 – Masquerade of the Guilty
In the upcoming Archon Quest, Fontaine is on the brink of destruction. The nation needs all hands on deck, even the Fatui Harbringer, Arlecchino, as the Primordial Seawater which can dissolve all Fontanians comes close to submerging the nation.
The approaching waters are also awakening formidable enemies and fearsome monsters. Among these include the All-Devouring Narwhal, the new weekly boss that deals massive AoE attacks, as well as The Foul who resides within.
The Hydro Tulpa has also emerged from its slumber and it possesses the ability to buff itself by absorbing Half-Tulpas.
Meanwhile, two prominent Fontaine characters – the Hydro Archon Furina and ace reporter Charlotte will join as playable characters. The former is a five-star Hydro sword user, while the latter is a four-star Cryo catalyst wielder.
Fontaine’s map extends eastward to Erinnyes Forest and Morte Region. The World Quest “The Narissenkreuz Adventure” will continue in the Tower of Ipsissmus where the mysteries of the Primordial Sea will be unveiled.
The update will also come with more events with special mini-games and exclusive bonuses. These include upgrades for Thelxie, the clockwork penguin, a new Fungi event, and a photography event.
Genshin Impact Version 4.2 will arrive on November 8 on PlayStation, PC, Android, and iOS.
