Following what many consider a return to form from OnePlus with the OnePlus 11, the company revealed that it will be introducing the OnePlus 12 in China on December 4. It is confirmed to feature a Sony LYT-808 main sensor and an LTPO OLED panel.

What do we know about the OnePlus 12 so far?

Let’s start with the official announcements on the device first. The upcoming OnePlus device is confirmed to feature a 2K LTPO curved OLED panel, meaning we can expect the device to have an adaptive refresh rate.

The company has also given us a peek into its camera system which, unsurprisingly is backed by Hasselblad. At the helm of the cameras is a Sony LYT-808 main sensor, joined by a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The smartphone also has ProXDR technology.

That’s all for the official specs, as of writing this.

However, the next-generation flagship device from OnePlus is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and offer 100W charging. Meanwhile, a 48MP ultrawide lens is believed to be the third rear camera.

We expect to learn more as the company looks to build up the hype for its next flagship device in the following days. The launch event will be held on December 4, 2023 at 7 PM (GMT+8) and is the 10th anniversary of the company.

As it is a China launch, we expect it to be streamed live via the official OnePlus Weibo.
