After discussing its telephoto camera capabilities at a recent conference, the realme GT5 Pro will officially be unveiled in China on December 7, 2023.
The device will be joining its vanilla sibling which was introduced in August 2023.

The latest addition to the realme GT series is said to be ‘a symphony of chipset supremacy and pixel-perfect imagery’. This hints at the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset at the helm and a 50MP Sony IMX890 telephoto lens. Moreover, it is said to be the first flagship to combine the latest Snapdragon flagship chipset and the IMX890.
The 50MP Sony IMX890 telephoto camera boasts a 1/1.56 sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology and offers up to 120x zoom.
realme also partnered with ArcSoft, a US software company, to develop the GT5 Pro photo capabilities, semantic perception, image quality enhancement, and computational lighting.
While, as of writing this, there isn’t much else information on the realme GT5 Pro, we expect to learn more about it officially in the following days with a little over a week to go until its launch event. The device will launch in China on December 7 via a live stream at 2 PM.
