My previous visit made easier for me realize and appreciate that they have done great strides in keeping up with the trends in smartphone and smart products development, especially when compared to how they were 5 years ago.

OPPO is all about taking awesome photos and they’ve got a secret weapon (not exactly a secret) called the Intelligent Imaging Lab. This place is no ordinary testing facility, it’s like something out of a sci-fi movie. With a bunch of super cool robots, they create real-life scenarios so they can test their cameras with utmost accuracy.
You won’t believe the range of lighting conditions and environments they can recreate. From those fancy restaurants with dim lighting to the bustling city streets, they’ve got it all covered. These robots are like unstoppable machines, they tirelessly snap thousands of pictures and record videos. Surprise, surprise – some of these robots are even named after real people who work at OPPO!
All this hard work pays off because the engineers at OPPO get a treasure trove of data to work with. They use this information to fine-tune their camera’s performance and make sure you get the most stunning pictures in any situation. In today’s connected world, staying connected is key. During the second day of my trip, OPPO toured us in their communication lab. The lab tests its smartphones’ ability to maintain stable and reliable connections, even in the toughest environments. The lab replicates scenarios like high-speed train journeys and bustling city streets, putting phones through the wringer to guarantee seamless connectivity, no matter where you go.
Enhancing NFC Technology with Robotic Precision
OPPO is all about innovation, and they take it seriously when it comes to their NFC technology. They’ve got a whole NFC Lab dedicated to testing and perfecting their smartphones’ ability to read and write NFC tags. And they’re not just using any old testing methods – they’ve got robots doing thousands of tests to ensure that the speed and precision of their NFC technology is top-notch
Why do they go to such lengths? Well, they want to make sure that you can use NFC technology for contactless payments without any hiccups. They’re committed to providing a seamless experience for their users, so you can enjoy all the benefits of NFC technology without any problems.
During my tour, I learned something pretty cool. The OPPO Find N3 and N3 Flip have the ability to use NFC technology to emulate your credit card. So instead of carrying around your physical card, you can securely use your smartphone for tap-transactions. It’s not just limited to credit cards either – you can do the same with debit cards and even hotel keycards.
Now, it’s important to note that not all NFC enabled cards can be copied and emulated. But it’s an exciting first step towards making things easier for users. OPPO wants their smartphones to be like a “swiss knife” for various transactions and actions, and NFC technology is helping them achieve that goal.

The first and second day of our OPPO Tech Insider Tour were pretty awesome. We got to see two labs focusing on improving OPPO’s Health-specific products and smart life products using AI.
OPPO’s vision is not just about smartphones, but about creating a complete smart life experience. Their Health Lab is doing some amazing work in developing wearable technology that helps people take charge of their health. By using their special algorithms, OPPO’s smartwatches can even detect blood vessel elasticity, which can be a clue to potential health issues.
And let’s not forget about the OPPO AndesBrain (Binhaiwan Bay) IDC, a huge data center that provides all the computing power needed for OPPO’s smart life innovations. This ensures that users can easily access and enjoy the incredible benefits of cutting-edge technology.
