Earlier this year ASUS unveiled its latest ROG x Evangelion collection that centered which was focused on EVA-02 and it was later confirmed to arrive in the Philippines.
The company recently announced that it will be offering a replacement piece for those with a copy of the motherboard with a typo on the decorative part.
ROG Maximus Z790 HERO EVA-02 Edition Typo
The ROG Maximus HERO Z790 EVA-02 Edition features Asuka on the left side of the motherboard along with the text “Evangelion Product Model-02”. However, it seems like some models had a typo that instead had “Evangenlion” rather than “Evangelion”.
Thankfully, this doesn’t impact the performance of the motherboard and is printed on a decorative part.
What is the fix to the ROG Maximus Z790 HERO EVA-02 Edition Typo?
ASUS has offered to extend the warranty of the motherboard by an additional year and offer a corrected decorative part for those that have the typo part.
The ROG x EVA-02 collection is launching in the Philippines soon. We hope the later release means the motherboards arriving won’t have the typos.
