vivo recently announced that it will introduce the vivo X100 series on November 13 in China. Alongside the company’s next-generation flagship device, the company has revealed that the vivo Watch 3 will debut as well.
vivo X100 series
The company has slowly revealed some of the main features and hardware of the vivo X100 series. At the center of this, and the devices, is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 that will power the new flagship series.
Additionally, it will feature ZEISS lenses and a periscope telephoto lens. The flagship series will also have a 6nm self-developed V3 imaging chip which brings a new 4K movie portrait video and portrait bokeh, to name a few.
The teaser photos reveal at least four colorways for the series – Black, White, Blue, and Orange. The latter two appear to have a textured back which we assume has a vegan leather back. Meanwhile, the black option has a matte finish.
The photos also reveal a quad-camera setup housed in a circular camera module, but unlike the vivo X90 series, the X100 has a centered camera module. The periscope telephoto lens is in full view in these photos on the right side of the camera island.
It is expected that the new X series devices will be comprised of the vivo X100 and X100 Pro.
We’re not sure if we’ll see any more specs revealed but the wait for the launch event isn’t too long now though with it set to be held on November 13 at 7 PM, GMT+8. We expect it to be live-streamed via the official vivo Weibo page as it is a China launch.
