vivo has just introduced the vivo X100 series, its latest flagship series, in China. Comprised of the vivo X100 and X100 Pro, the vivo X100 series seamlessly blends photography, performance, and battery life.
vivo X100 Series
The latest X-series devices are the first smartphones to be powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. It employs a ‘full big core’ design with a 3.25GHz Cortex-X4 core, three 2.85GHz Cortex-X4 cores, and four 2GHz Cortex-A720 cores coupled with the Immortalis-G720 GPU.
The vivo X100 series draws its design inspiration from star trails, resembling the Milky Way in space. It features a centrally positioned large circular camera module with a triple camera setup on the back with the iconic ZEISS blue logo at the center of the module.
The X100 Pro features a Sony IMX989 50MP main sensor joined by a 50MP ZEISS APO Floating Telephoto camera with a f/2.5 large aperture and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Meanwhile, the vivo X100 features a 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera, a 64MP OV64B sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide.
The duo also has a vivo V3 imaging chip that supports 4K Cinematic Portrait Video recording.

As of writing this though, it is uncertain if and when the vivo X100 series will make an international debut. Its predecessor, the vivo X90 series was first introduced in China in November 2022 and later introduced globally in February 2023. Given this example, it could be a couple of months until we see the vivo X100 series make it out of its local market.
