HONOR has begun expanding its X-series with the HONOR X9b and now follows it up with the introduction of the HONOR X8b. This device is the successor to the HONOR X9a released earlier this year.

The X8b features a pill-shaped cutout on the front and a 108MP main rear sensor.

The company’s latest X-series device is built around a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel but has a standard refresh rate. However, it offers up to a 2000 nits of peak brightness.

The pill-shaped cutout is for the 50MP front camera and its own flash. Moreover, this is for the Magic Capsule feature that shows notifications and system statuses.

Around the back, it has a square camera module for its 108MP main lens, 5MP ultrawide sensor, and 2MP macro camera.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It also supports 35W HONOR SuperCharge.
