ASUS ROG recently posted a teaser for the next iteration of its gaming-focused smartphone, which will be presumably named the ROG Phone 8.
ROG Phone 8 Could Bring Notable Changes to the Design
From the looks of it, the device will have a new design for its rear panel, with a pentagon-shaped camera housing for what looks like a triple camera setup. As with the previous version, there’s also a USB-C port located on the side.
The ROG Phone 7 had an LED screen at the back, but it looks like the brand has opted to go for less bling here as there is only a simple ASUS ROG branding that can be seen in the middle and another small bit at the top right.
The word ROG can also be seen on the lower right section of the camera housing. What’s also noticeable is that this phone uses flat sides.
As with many phone leaks, more information about the new device should pop up as its launch date nears. In this case, supposedly in early 2024.
