AYANEO has just unveiled its latest handheld gaming devices – the AYANEO Flip DS and KB. As the name suggests, the two new gaming handhelds feature a flip design similar to the Nintendo DS.
AYANEO Flip DS and KB
The difference between the two gaming handhelds lies in what lies in the bottom half of the device. The KB has a built-in keyboard in the middle while the DS variant has a 3.5-inch display with a 960×640 pixel resolution.
The top display of both gaming devices is a 7-inch FHD IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, they have either an AMD Ryzen 7840U or a Ryzen 7 8840U chipset coupled with up to 64GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 SSD.
It weighs 650g has a 45Wh battery and has an OcuLink port with USB 4 to connect an external GPU. Other ports include a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, a memory card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For connectivity, it supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 and runs on Windows 11.
