Right on cue, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Ace 3 in China with a very familiar design and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at the helm.

The Ace 3 is built around a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved BOE LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and features a 16MP front lens in a punch hole.
Around the back, it features a back panel design similar to the OnePlus 11 5G with an aluminum frame and frosted glass back. The camera module houses a triple rear camera with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with OIS.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is joined by up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a 5500mAh battery with support for 100W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. The device also has a SUPERVOOC S power management chip to help in assuring a more durable and longer-lasting battery.
Moreover, the Ace 3 has a three-stage alert slider, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Dolby Atmos-supported stereo speakers, and an X-Axis Linear Motor.

How much does the OnePlus Ace 3 cost in China?
In China, the OnePlus Ace 3 comes in three memory configurations. These are available at:
- 12GB+256GB – CNY 2,599 (around PHP 20,300)
- 16GB+512GB – CNY 2,999 (around PHP 23,400)
- 16GB+1TB – CNY 3,499 (around PHP 27,300)
It will officially go on shelves on January 15. Historically, the Ace series has never left the Chinese shores but instead, it is expected to be introduced in the global market as the OnePlus 12R. The 12R will debut with the OnePlus 12 later this month.
