After all the leaks and certification appearances, realme has finally revealed that the realme 12 Pro series 5G will be introduced in India sometime in January.
realme 12 Pro Series 5G India Launch
Unsurprisingly, realme is featuring the periscope camera of its upcoming number series flagship devices. This is the same technology that the company has teased to feature at CES 2024.
Two devices recently made their appearance on the TENAA certification page which was speculated to be the realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. The listing revealed some of the hardware of the duo. Among its highlights include a 50MP-led triple rear setup for the realme 12 Pro, while the Pro+ was listed to have a 64MP camera at the helm.
If you’re surprised not to see a higher megapixel camera, the company seems to take pride in the periscope lens as it simply mentions “Beyond 200MP” on the event page of the series and follows this up with a Trade-in Promo in India with the simple line “Trade-in Your 200MP Smartphone”.
realme 12 Pro Series 5G x Ollivier Saveo Collaboration
In addition to the teaser, realme also revealed its collaboration with luxury watch designer Ollivier Saveo which gives a peek at the design of the realme 12 Pro series 5G. Spoiler, it’s pretty much what the TENAA listing showed with a circular camera module and a stripe down the middle.
However, what’s unique about the collaboration teaser is that It showcases a blue-colored camera module. This, according to a recent leak, is for a variant that is inspired by a Rolex watch. This specific device will have a blue leather back with gold accents.
realme seemed to also hint at this partnership in one of the tweets where it used a crown, which is the logo of Rolex. Although, we could just be looking too much into things.
No date has been announced just yet, as of writing this, but we expect to learn more about the realme 12 Pro series 5G sooner rather than later. We expect the company to reveal the date and then start giving us teasers on the other hardware and features of the latest number series.

He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
