ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) held its For Those Who Dare: Transcendence event at CES 2024. During which it introduced quite a lot including its latest laptops, monitors, PC hardware, peripherals, accessories, and the ROG Phone 8 series.
Among the peripherals and accessories the company announced include a new microphone, new keyboard, new TWS earbuds, and a monitor light bar, to name a few.

ROG Carnyx Microphone
The Carnyx microphone was crafted for studio-quality recording with a 25mm condenser capsule and a 192kHz/24-bit sampling rate with a cardioid polar pattern.
It has a high-pass filter, built-in pop filter, and a premium metal shock mount that are said to guarantee clear and smooth sound in intense gaming sessions. The mic itself has a multi-functional control knob, a one-touch mute button, and Aura Sync RGB lighting.
ROG Keris II Ace
The Keris II Ace, on the other hand, is an ergonomic mouse that weighs only 54g and is the latest addition to the company’s Ace Esports series.
It features the company’s SpeedNova wireless technology to ensure the lowest latency even in crowded wireless environments.
The mouse has an AimPoint Pro optical sensor coupled with a 100M ROG Optical Micro Switch that excels in both precision and durability. Meanwhile, the company’s Polling Rate Booster is a stand-alone device that supports wireless polling up to 4000 Hz and wired rates up to 8000 Hz.
ROG Falchion RX Low Profile Keyboard
Moving on is the Falchion RX Low Profile Keyboard with the company’s own RX Low-Profile Switches. These offer a smooth linear feel and deliver a satisfying clicky sensation.
The keyboard offers a compact design, a minimalistic look, and unique features. Among these features include a multi-functional touch panel, the company’s SpeedNova wireless technology, and the OmniReceiver.
ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova
The Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova earbuds, as the name suggests, feature the company’s SpeedNova wireless technology to offer ultra-low latency, robust wireless connection, and optimized power usage. Moreover, the earbuds have 24-bit 96kHz audio which is enhanced by Dirac Opteo.
The earbuds connect via 2.4GHz or Bluetooth for adaptability and are said to offer up to 46 hours of battery life and wireless charging. It also features customizable ASUS Aura RGB lighting.
ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01 and Ergo Monitor Arm AAS01
Lastly, the Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01 and Ergo Monitor Arm. The former has three modes – front light for eye care, backlight for Aura Sync setup, and a combination for immersive viewing. It can be used for both curved and flat monitors and supports personalized adjustments in color temperature and brightness. You can also seamlessly integrate this into your gaming setup with Aura Sync and ASUS DisplayWidget Center softwares.
Meanwhile, the Ergo Monitor Arm can support up to 39-inch monitors and beyond up to the maximum recommended weight of 11.5kg. It features a double-sided cable management and a cyberpunk-inspired design with VESA support. The mechanical spring arm mechanism allows smooth adjustments through a range of movements – 75° up and 15° down and pivots a full 360°.
