Despite the costs involved in developing the service, Samsung Electronics is committed to bringing Samsung Galaxy AI to around 100 million Galaxy mobile devices worldwide this year.

The feature is available on the latest Galaxy S24 series and will remain free until 2025. Samsung has invested heavily in Galaxy AI, and TM Roh, Samsung Electronics President and Head of Mobile Experience Business, has hinted at the possibility of a premium service with more advanced AI features.
“According to our analysis, there are various needs for mobile AI. So, there will be consumers who will be satisfied with using the AI capabilities for free. Then there could also be customers who wish for even more powerful AI capabilities, and even pay for them. So, in the future decision-making, we will take all these factors into consideration,“

Samsung has not provided an immediate update on the paid model for the Samsung Galaxy AI, but remains optimistic about its future, aiming to bring the technology to over 100 million devices worldwide by 2024, including older flagship phones and upcoming foldable phones.
