Samsung has confirmed that its upcoming mid-range phones, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, will be easier to repair than their predecessors. Although these phones are not yet available, Samsung recently published repair scores for them in France.
Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 Repair Scores
The A55 and A35 have slightly higher repairability scores than the 2023 models due to design improvements and better support, scoring 8.5 out of 10 and 8.4, respectively.
However, while the Galaxy A35 is slightly less easy to disassemble compared to its predecessor, it scores more points in other categories, resulting in a higher total repairability score.
The South Korean company has not disclosed release plans for the A35 and A55, but given that the first anniversary of the A34 and A54 is approaching, it’s likely that the 2024 models will be launched soon.
Moreover, similar to the mid-range phones, the manufacturer has also focused on improving the repairability of its high-end Galaxy S24 flagships.
