HONOR has just introduced the HONOR Magic6 Pro to kick off its Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024). It was launched alongside the HONOR Pad 9 and MagicBook Pro 16. The latter was teased to arrive with AI features.
HONOR Magic6 Pro Global Launch
The Magic6 Pro is built around a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by a “NanoCrystal Shield” glass which the company claims is more drop resistant by 10 times compared to its processor. It also has a silicone nitride coating to improve scratch resistance.
The main focus of HONOR’s latest flagship though is the camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 108MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP snapper. The 108MP sensor offers up to 2.5x zoom. Meanwhile, upfront is a 50MP lens with a 3D depth sensor for face unlock.
Under the hood is Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The company boasts new AI features on the device including:
- Magic Capsule – grants access to essential resources and navigate through multiple apps
- Magic Portal – on-device AI for features like recognizing addresses in a text message to bring that to Google Maps and more
- Circle to Search – Google’s new feature to help you recognize specific items on your screen
The device has a 5600mAh battery with improved silicon carbon technology to help it charge in extreme cold and offer more power in a smaller capacity.
