After being teased at the Galaxy Unpacked last month where the Galaxy S24 Series was introduced, Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Ring at Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024).
The company didn’t reveal much about the Galaxy Ring but it has revealed more information on the new wearable that aims to take on other rings like the Oura Ring. Furthermore, it is displayed at the company’s booth at the convention.

The ring will have a minimalist design and arrive in platinum silver, gold, and ceramic black colorways. A report from The Verge mentions that the new wearable is light and comes in sizes 5 to 13. Moreover, the battery size goes from 14.5mAh to 21.5mAh depending on the size of the ring.
It also has a variety of sensors for health monitoring, but the company hasn’t fully revealed what these sensors will be. Although, Samsung has revealed that it is working with Natural Cycles to help in fertility tracking. These sensors are spotted on the inside of the ring.
The ring will also feature a unique feature dubbed My Vitality Score which will arrive via Booster Cards. The former is designed to measure alertness and provide insights based on your overall score. Meanwhile, the latter will offer tips that will include things like sleep and other health-related data.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring may have been announced but it will be officially released later this year. Because this is the case, its price point is also unknown, as of writing this.
