Windows insider FireCube (@FireCubeStudios on X/Twitter) recently leaked what appears to be a redesigned Sticky Notes app on Windows.
Windows Sticky Notes Redesigned App
The leakster shared a screenshot of the redesigned app that reveals a fresh look complete with a redesigned app and a new logo. The new logo is more akin to the OneNote app, rather than the current yellow sticky notes logo.
The new logo seems to hint at a potential deeper integration between Sticky Notes and the OneNote platform.
Based on the photo, it appears that the new Sticky Note app will still retain the familiar rectangular windows but will be grouped in a “Recent Notes” section.
The new app appears to have a search bar to help you locate your older notes. There will also be more options for formatting with basic rich-text options like bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and bulleted/number lists.
The photo appears to show a “pre” text superimposed on its logo which may hint that this build is still being tested by Microsoft. We expect to see a somewhat similar build though to be introduced for all Windows users at a later date.
Keep in mind though that Microsoft has yet to officially reveal this.
