Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest devices in the global market headlined by the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 at a launch event held in Barcelona, Spain.
The new Xiaomi flagship devices were joined by the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, Xiaomi Watch S3, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, and Xiaomi Watch 2.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the company’s latest Ultra device and was recently unveiled in China.
Like its Chinese counterpart, the 14 Ultra features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and is housed in a high-strength aluminum frame with Xiaomi nano-tech vegan leather and Xiaomi Shield Glass.
It is built around a 6.73-inch WQHD+ curved LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.
Where it stands out though is its camera with four 50MP sensors. At the helm is a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor, joined by a Leica 75mm floating telephoto lens, a Leica 120mm periscope camera, and a 12mm Leica ultrawide snapper.
The device has new Movie mode that introduces cinematic industry practices like a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and a 180° shutter rule. Moreover, it has an all-new MasterCinema that encodes HDR videos in 10-bit Rec.2020.
The device also comes with a Photography Kit designed for photography and videography enthusiasts. Among its features include:
- Dedicate grip and case
- Two-stage shutter button
- Zoom lever
- Customizable video recording button
- Custom dial
Furthermore, it doubles as an external charging battery pack with 1500mAh of battery. The accessory is available for separate purchase.
On the software front, it is powered by the company’s new HyperOS. It is also confirmed to have 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
