Ahead of any official announcement from Xiaomi, some retailers in Europe have already started selling the Xiaomi Watch 2, a more affordable alternative to the Pro variant.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Specs
The Xiaomi Watch 2 features the same 1.43-inch AMOLED display and Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset as the Pro, but with an aluminum case instead of stainless steel.
Other shared specs include heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, built-in GPS, 5 ATM water resistance, and a 495mAh battery claimed to last up to 65 hours. Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi and NFC, but there is no LTE version.
The device comes in black and silver colors with matching TPU straps. Pricing seen at stores in Belgium and Slovakia suggests the standard Watch 2 will retail around €200-250, compared to €230-330 for the current Pro model.
