OnePlus, the popular smartphone brand known for its “Never Settle” philosophy, is set to launch its latest flagship devices in the Philippine market this April. Looks like OnePlus Philippines is not settling with the series after all.
The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 series, consisting of the OnePlus 12 and the more affordable OnePlus 12R, promises to deliver cutting-edge technology and premium features at competitive price points. According to reliable source, there is a high demand of the product among dealers in the Philippines.
The OnePlus 12: A Powerhouse of Innovation
The OnePlus 12 is the company’s top-of-the-line offering, boasting an impressive array of specifications that cater to the needs of even the most demanding users. At the heart of this device lies the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with up to a staggering 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a massive 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
One of the standout features of the OnePlus 12 is its stunning 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, which offers a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an eye-catching peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring durability and scratch resistance.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 12 doesn’t disappoint. It features a triple-camera setup co-developed with the renowned camera manufacturer Hasselblad, comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens. This powerful camera system promises to capture stunning images and videos with exceptional detail and clarity.
Keeping the OnePlus 12 running is a massive 5,400mAh battery that supports incredibly fast 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring that users can quickly top up their devices and stay connected on the go.
The OnePlus 12R: Flagship Performance at an Affordable Price
For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the OnePlus 12R offers a compelling combination of performance and value. While it may not match the OnePlus 12 in terms of raw power, the 12R still packs a punch with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB Storage of UFS 3.1.
The OnePlus 12R features a slightly smaller 6.78-inch LTPO ProXDR AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring a smooth and immersive viewing experience.
In the camera department, the 12R boasts a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. While not as advanced as the OnePlus 12’s camera system, the 12R’s cameras should still deliver decent performance for most users.
One notable difference between the OnePlus 12 and 12R is the battery capacity. The 12R packs a slightly larger 5,500mAh battery, but it only supports 100W wired charging and lacks wireless charging capabilities.
