Sony’s Next-Gen XP Event Showcases its Newest Audio-Visual Innovations

Sony Philippines recently hosted the Next-Gen XP event at the Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall, where they showcased their latest line of speakers, cameras, TVs, and headphones. The event aimed to cater to the needs and lifestyles of the next generation, bringing a new era of entertainment and technology through awe-inspiring interactive installations, fun activities, and electrifying performances.

The main highlight of the event was the experiential booths dedicated to showcasing Sony’s next-gen products and their integration into various lifestyles. Participants were able to witness the versatility of Sony’s technology through immersive installations that featured products in different scenarios, such as traveling, relaxing at a coffee shop, chilling with friends at the beach, or partying at the dance studio.

One of the star products was the SRS-XV800 Wireless Party Speaker, which was showcased in the Dance Studio booth. Equipped with omni-directional sound, it filled the entire room with audio, making it perfect for dance studios and parties. Members of the award-winning dance crew A-Team shared their experience with the SRS-XV800 and Sony’s X-Series wireless speakers, praising their ability to set the mood and enhance their performances.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Beach Party booth showcased the water-resistant SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG300 speakers, perfect for bringing the music to a seaside celebration. The A7C II camera was also featured, capturing high-resolution beach photos and videos with its cutting-edge capture technology.

The Travel Booth highlighted the WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones, which offer industry-leading noise-cancellation technology for peaceful commutes or travel. Digital creator Isa Rodriguez attested to the exceptional noise-cancellation capabilities of Sony’s headphones, making them ideal for various situations, including content creation and travel.

In the Café booth, the ZV-E10 camera was the star, allowing users to capture beautiful images with intricate bokeh effects. Fashion, film, and art content creator Jaz Reyes emphasized the importance of having high-quality equipment like the ZV-E10 to inspire daily content creation. The SRS-XE300 speaker, with its Line Diffuser for far-reaching audio, was also featured, perfect for filling a café with ambient music.

Participants had the opportunity to win exciting prizes, including WF-C500 Truly Wireless Headphones, WF-C700 Truly Wireless Headphones, WI-C100 Wireless In-Ear Headphones, SRS-XP500 Portable Wireless Speaker, and SRS-XG300 Portable Wireless Speaker.

The Next-Gen XP event was made even more memorable with electrifying performances from the world-renowned dance crew A-Team, dancer-choreographer Carlos Serrano III, and rising P-Pop girl group G22. The highlight of the night was a captivating performance by JOSH CULLEN, a member of the phenomenal P-Pop group SB19, who entertained the crowd with his hit solo single “Wild Tonight” and other songs.

The event marked the first-ever collaboration between Sony Philippines and Sony Music, further emphasizing Sony’s commitment to bringing world-class Filipino entertainment content to music lovers through their innovative audio, imaging, and video equipment.
