At this year’s Computex, ASUS stole the spotlight with a dazzling array of consumer products infused with cutting-edge AI capabilities. The company’s booth showcased how it is democratizing AI and transforming the way we create, work, play, and experience technology.

Leading the charge was ASUS’ new AI-powered ProArt lineup tailored for creators. The ProArt P16 laptop combines powerful AMD Ryzen AI CPUs and NVIDIA RTX graphics in a sleek 1.8kg Nano Black chassis with a vibrant 4K OLED display. The convertible ProArt PX13 and detachable ProArt PZ13 offer similar firepower with stylus support in highly portable, mil-spec tough designs.

Creators can elevate their art with ASUS’ new AI-infused ProArt lineup. The ProArt P16 clamshell delivers heavyweight performance with AMD Ryzen AI HX CPUs and up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics in a 1.8kg Nano Black aluminum chassis. It has a 4K ASUS Lumina OLED display and the ASUS DialPad control surface.

The convertible ProArt PX13 adapts to multiple modes with stylus support. It combines AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX CPUs, up to RTX 4070 GPUs, and a 3K OLED touch display in a 1.38kg, 15.8mm thick design meeting MIL-STD-810H toughness.

The ultraportable ProArt PZ13 detachable 2-in-1 runs Snapdragon X-series chips and has a 3K OLED screen, full keyboard, military-grade durability, and all-day 70Wh battery.

The flagship Zenbook S 16 redefines premium ultraportable laptops by packing AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 9 HX CPUs with 50 TOPS AI horsepower into a gorgeous 1.5kg, 1.1cm thin all-metal chassis. Its 16-inch 3K 120Hz panel, six-speaker audio, and CNC-milled keyboard area exude luxury. Vapor chamber cooling and a dedicated Copilot key enhance the AI experience.

The new Vivobook S series hosts AI might in ultra-sleek aluminum designs from 1.39cm and 1.3kg. The Vivobook S 15 debuted as ASUS’ first Copilot+ PC with a 15.6-inch 3K 120Hz OLED display and AI Copilot key. Up to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX CPUs with 50 TOPS AI processing provide potent performance.

Topping the lineup is the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX – the world’s first 8K mini-LED professional monitor with a staggering 7680×4320 resolution and Delta E<1 calibration. It’s HDR-ready with 1200 nits peak brightness, automated calibration, and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.

TUF Gaming with AI

ASUS integrated AI into its TUF Gaming laptop series for enhanced gaming experiences. The TUF A16 combines up to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX CPUs with up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics and a 16-inch 2.5K 165Hz display in a military-grade yet portable 2.2kg design.

The ultra-slim 14-inch TUF A14 packs similar firepower with up to Ryzen AI 9 HX and RTX 4060 GPUs into a featherweight 1.46kg, 16.9mm chassis. Both use efficient cooling for sustained high performance.

AI NUC and IoT Solutions

The new NUC 14 Performance compact PC kit combines Intel’s powerful Core Ultra CPUs with up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics for potent AI processing ideal for workloads like content creation.

ASUS IoT showcased industrial edge AI solutions powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Orin chips, optimized for vision AI and intelligent video analytics with up to 275 TOPS AI throughput.

Peripherals and Connectivity

ASUS revealed the Master Thunderbolt 5 Dock DC510 desktop dock with 80Gbps Thunderbolt 5 speeds, dual 8K display support, a magnetic NVMe SSD expansion slot and pass-through charging up to 140W.

For next-gen networking, the tri-band ZenWiFi BT10 mesh WiFi 7 router provides 18Gbps speeds and 560m coverage. The RT-BE88U router is another powerful WiFi 7 option with Multi-Link Operation technology.

Commercial Products

There was also the ASUS ESC AI POD featuring the rack-scale NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 – the world’s most potent rack solution for real-time Trillion-Parameter Inference and Training. ASUS leverages servers powered by NVIDIA’s MGX and Grace Hopper chips for maximum AI throughput, plus the ASUS AI Foundry Service tapping large language models for enterprise AI development.

New workstations and servers were unveiled, including the Pro ET900A X9 with AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO CPUs supporting multi-GPU configs via 7 PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. The Pro ET700I W7 packs Intel Xeon W-series chips and dual NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPUs. For SMBs, the compact 1U Pro ER100A B6 rackmount has AMD EPYC 4000 CPUs. All three feature ASUS Control Center Express software for centralized IT management.

Next-Gen Healthcare with AI

ASUS is transforming healthcare with AI. Three new AI capabilities come to the ASUS Ultrasound device in 2024 – Vessel AI for automatic vessel mapping, Body Composition AI for body fat/muscle analysis, and an AI coding-free platform for image study. The VivoWatch wearable gains an AI health coaching feature using machine learning to provide personalized exercise and health advice based on the user’s data.
