ASUS today announced the TUF Gaming A14, a new 14-inch ultra-portable gaming laptop, at the Computex 2024 trade show in Taipei. The A14 packs powerful AMD Ryzen AI and NVIDIA GeForce RTX laptop GPUs into an ultra-compact 1.46 kg chassis that is only 1.69 cm thick.
Despite its thin and light design, the A14 supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with a 100W maximum GPU power – far higher than most competitors in this class. It also features dual M.2 SSD slots, USB-C charging, and a 2.5K 165Hz NVIDIA G-SYNC display.
The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor includes a built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 50 TOPS of AI compute performance. Combined with the AI capabilities of the NVIDIA RTX GPU, the A14 can perform advanced AI tasks like stable image generation locally on the laptop.
ASUS touts the A14 as “one of the most powerful AI laptops available right now” with a total of over 350 TOPS of combined AI performance from the CPU and GPU.
