ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) showcases its commitment to excellence and technological advancement with the launch of the ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard and ROG Harpe Ace Extreme gaming mouse – the first members of the ROG Extreme series at Computex 2024.
ROG Azoth Extreme
The ROG Azoth Extreme features a crafted aluminum-alloy chassis and a metal top frame. It achieves an 8K polling rate in wireless mode and maintains a battery life of over 1600 hours, thanks to ROG SpeedNova technology along with the Polling Rate Booster.
It is equipped with an upgraded full-color OLED touchscreen that allows you to view system info and customize keyboard settings seamlessly.
Under the chassis, the keyboard boasts an adjustable gasket mount, which you can toggle between two preferred cushioned typing feels via a quick-flip switch.
A carbon fiber positioning plate also offers crisp typing sounds and helps absorb keystroke vibrations, while the extended silicone wrist rest ensures prolonged typing comfort.
The ROG Azoth Extreme is also built with pre-lubed ROG NX mechanical switches and sound-dampening foams for smoother keystrokes and better acoustics.
Lastly, it supports a tri-mode connection, letting you switch between Bluetooth, 2.4GHz RF wireless mode, or standard wired USB.
ROG Harpe Ace Extreme
Joining the ROG Azoth Extreme is the ROG Harpe Ace Extreme gaming mouse with a carbon fiber composite shell that ensures structural durability and aesthetics.
The mouse weighs an ultralight 47g and has an ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor with 42,000 dpi. Moreover, it has ROG Optical Micro Switches that are said to have a 100-million-click lifespan.
Like the gaming keyboard, the Harpe Ace Extreme supports tri-mode connectivity allowing you to switch between wired USB, 2.4GHz RF, and Bluetooth modes.
The Extreme mouse comes with a set of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 feet for those who prefer fast movements. Other accessories that come with the mouse include an anti-slip grip tape, a cleaning kit, and a display stand.
The company also introduced the ROG Polling Rate Booster which now supports a true 8000Hz wireless polling rate for ultrafast wireless responsiveness and minimal input delay.
