Google has confirmed recently that it will unveil the Google Pixel 9 series in August. A little over a month before the event though, a hands-on video of the Pixel 9 was shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Google Pixel 9 Hands-on Video
X user Hani Mohamed Bioud (@hanibioud) shared a video of the Pink colorway of the Pixel 9 which he claims is already out in Algeria. It gives us a sneak peek at the latest Pixel device.
Based on the video, the device appears to have a more flat form factor which is quite a contrast from the more rounded design of the Pixel 8 series.
The camera module has also been altered to be a floating island coming from the iconic cyclops-like band of the previous Pixel devices. It also seems like the camera lenses are larger despite being the vanilla variant of the series.
He claims that the device has 256GB storage and is only available in the pink variant. According to other reports, the device will also come in Jade, Obsidian, and Porcelain.
As of writing this though, it hasn’t been confirmed if the device is offered in Algeria and Google has more than a month to go until its official launch. The Google Pixel 9 series is expected to be comprised of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
