Huawei has started teasing the HUAWEI nova Flip, the first foldable device in the company’s nova series and it will be introduced on August 5.

The HUAWEI nova Flip appears to have a more ‘traditional’ clamshell foldable device with a rectangular camera island around the back with a square cover display occupying around half of the device.
This is a stark contrast to the two-circle design back panel design of the HUAWEI Pocket series which includes the HUAWEI P50 Pocket, Pocket S, and Pocket 2.
Moreover, the foldable will have dual rear cameras and an LED flash in a vertical configuration. The teaser video also reveals a metal frame, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a SIM card tray, a USB-C port, and at least a green colorway.
The device is expected to be a more affordable foldable for the company with mid-range or flagship killer-like specs.
We expect to learn more in the following days on the true specs of the HUAWEI nova Flip, and maybe even the next-generation nova devices.
