MediaTek has just unveiled the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 chipset, its latest mid-range-level SoC. The chipset is built on a second-generation 4nm process and uses second-generation Armv9 cores.
MediaTek Dimensity 7350
The Dimensity 7350 comprises 2 big Arm Cortex-A715 cores running at up to 3GHz and 6 little Cortex-A510 cores.
It has a MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 for gaming-related optimizations and an Arm Mali-G610 MC4. The latter allows support for FHD+ displays at up to 144Hz refresh rates. It also supports up to 200MP cameras and video capture of up to 4K at 30fps.
The HyperEngine 5.0 brings smart smart resource optimization CPU and GPU and ensures that devices consume low battery on 5G and Wi-Fi connections.
Moreover, it has a MediaTek NPU 657 to optimize AI-fusion processing and improve power efficiency. The chipset supports LPDDR5 and LPDDR4X storage with up to 6400Mbps as well as UFS 3.1 storage.
As of writing this, the company has yet to reveal which manufacturers are working on a device powered by the new chipset and when the first MediaTek Dimensity 7350-powered devices will debut.
