Last July 20, the eighth season of the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC) reached its conclusion at the Glorietta 4 Activity Center. Gamerpact Esports emerged victorious, defeating Minerva Esports in a best-of-5 series with a final score of 3-1.
The championship match showcased exceptional skill and strategy from both teams. Minerva Esports initially gained the upper hand by securing the first game. However, Gamerpact Esports demonstrated remarkable resilience, employing effective defensive strategies to secure victories in the subsequent three games.
This triumph earned Gamerpact Esports the grand prize of 500,000 Philippine Pesos and realme GT 6 smartphones for each team member.
The runners-up, Minerva Esports, received 200,000 Philippine Pesos and realme 12 Pro+ 5G devices for their commendable performance.
Aezu of Gamerpact Esports was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the finals, receiving an additional cash prize of 100,000 Philippine Pesos for his outstanding contribution to his team’s success.
The event featured additional entertainment, including a show match with professional players and a musical performance by Al James.
The tournament was powered by the realme GT 6 smartphone and supported by several brand partners, including Hybreed Philippines, Gong Cha, SteelSeries, and Home Credit.
