Redmi Pad Pro Unboxing

Just recently, Xiaomi sent over a Redmi Pad Pro that that they are scheduled to launch this week in the Philippines! This tablet promises to deliver a premium experience at a budget-friendly price, and we can’t wait to show you what’s inside the box and give you a quick rundown of its specs.

Note that this is not yet our full review. We are scheduled to publish our full review soon as we still to finalize it. As of writing this article, Xiaomi has not yet provided us the price of their latest tablet.

What’s in the Box?

Here’s a quick look at everything included in the box:

That’s it! Xiaomi keeps it simple, focusing on the essentials to get you up and running with your new tablet. I have to note though that we are clarifying with Xiaomi if the unit that will be shipped to buyers will have a 33W charger included. Ours did not have anything inside, which we thought was odd so we asked Xiaomi about it. We are still waiting for their advise as of writing this article.

Now that we’ve got the unboxing out of the way, let’s take a quick look at the specs that make the Redmi Pad Pro stand out in the crowded tablet market.

The Redmi Pad Pro boasts a stunning 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This 2.5K display offers vibrant colors and sharp details, making it perfect for watching movies, browsing the web, or getting some work done. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and a responsive touch experience.

Performance

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. This octa-core processor, built on a 4nm process, delivers a good balance of performance and efficiency. The tablet comes in three configurations:

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage (This is what Xiaomi for us to review and feature.)
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

Software

The Redmi Pad Pro runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, based on Android 14.
