Xiaomi has officially announced that the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4, its latest foldables will be launching in China this month.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip will be the company’s first clamshell foldable device. Meanwhile, the Mix Fold 4 is a successor to the Mix Fold 3, introduced in August 2023.

The post revealing this includes a poster with a Xiaomi factory that is said to be able to produce full-scale. This is said to be a digitalized smart factory with 100% automation.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal more details though including the exact launch date and specifications of either device. However, it is rumored that the two new foldables will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The Mix Flip is also said to have a 4-inch cover display and a 50MP main and 60MP telephoto camera setup. This, according to previous renders and leaked photos will be stacked on top of each other with the cameras separated in a camera island along the top of the back panel and the panel under it. Moreover, it will support 67W fast charging as seen on the China Quality Certification Centre website.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is rumored to have a camera setup comprised of a 50MP main, a 60MP telephoto lens, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP periscope telephoto lens. It is also said to have a 5000mAh battery and support for 67W fast charging.

We expect the company to start revealing more about the specs shortly after it announces the exact launch date. We also assume that the company will tease the design with the launch date reveal.
