Apple plans to hold its annual iPhone-centric event on September 9 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, with select media members invited to attend.
Apple Launch Event
Apple’s upcoming event will unveil the iPhone 16 lineup, new Apple Watch models, and AirPods 4, along with official launch dates for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other software updates.
According to earlier reports, the manufacturer has announced four new iPhones with customizable Action Buttons and Capture Button, built-in gestures for photo taking. All models will have an A18 chip, supporting the company’s AI features in iOS 18. The Pro lineup will have an increased display size from 6.1 and 6.7 inches to 6.3 and 6.9 inches and will include the 5x Telephoto zoom option.
The company plans to refresh the Watch SE and Ultra with new health features like sleep apnea detection and blood pressure monitoring, but it’s unclear if these will be ready for launch this year.
Additionally, two models of the “AirPods 4” are expected, one a direct successor to the current AirPods 3 and one with Active Noise Cancellation support at a non-Pro price.
You can watch the event’s live stream on the company’s website, YouTube, and TV app.
