Apple plans to launch two foldable devices in 2026: an iPhone and an iPad/Mac hybrid device. This move follows years of rumors about Apple entering the foldables market.
Apple Foldables by 2026?
The American company has signed a panel supply contract for its first foldable iPhone, expected in late 2026, and is also developing an iPad/MacBook hybrid device with an 18.8-inch display.
Analyst Jeff Pu’s reports indicate that these devices may come in 2026.
Moreover, Pu predicts the iPad/Mac hybrid to debut in Q2 2026, followed by the iPhone in late 2026, with no additional details on the devices.
A lot can happen between now and 2026 so it is advisable to take everything with a grain of salt. In addition, the Cupertino-based company plans to introduce radical changes to its product line, including the iPad/Mac hybrid and foldable display but may do so in small quantities to test how the market will react to these new products.
