Apple, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, is developing a robotic device that has arms that can tilt, spin, and rotate an iPad-style display, with a team of hundreds working on the project.
Apple Robotic Device Coming?
According to the report, The company is exploring home robotics with Kevin Lynch, aiming for a launch in 2026 or 2027. The tabletop device could serve multiple purposes, including controlling smart homes, attending video conferences, and monitoring home security. Sources suggest it may cost around USD 1,000.
This Apple home robotics device may have the ability to respond to commands using Siri or Apple Intelligence features, such as “look at me,” and can tilt the screen to face users during video calls.
Moreover, Gurman has been reporting on this project for several months now. This means that this might be the Cupertino-based company’s next big venture and has been preparing for its development for some time now.
For now, we can only wait for the company’s official report regarding this new project and of course, we can expect more leaks to surface if this project is really in development.
