Google Gemini has made a lot of progress since its launch. Now, after rolling out the update, it introduces a powerful Live tool and an advanced chatbot version, along with a visual glow for the floating window.
Google Gemini Android Updates
Google’s Android version of the chatbot has been updated to highlight a subtle glow around its window and respond to user queries in the same floating window without opening the Gemini app. This feature allows users to ask follow-up questions without leaving the app.
Moreover, the window can also be expanded to three-quarters of the screen for more convenient conversations. Users can still access the Gemini app by tapping the icon in the top right corner.
Gemini allows users to add images generated by the chatbot to conversations in Google Messages and Gmail. The “Ask about this video” functionality is now available within the YouTube app, replacing the “Add this screen” chip.
In addition, this feature allows users to quickly get a summary of a YouTube video and ask follow-up questions. The changes were demonstrated during a demo in May.
Google plans to release the glowy Gemini window and its accompanying features to all Gemini and Gemini Advanced users in the coming weeks.
