Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, its first Plus device following the popularity of the vanilla Phone (2a).
The Plus comes with some improvements to its hardware like the front camera, charging speed, and its chipset.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus
The Phone (2a) Plus shares a lot of its hardware with its vanilla sibling announced earlier this year. Among these include the 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel, the 5000mAh battery, and 50MP+50MP dual rear camera.
The two devices also share the same back panel, complete with the eye-like camera module, iconic transparent design, and the Glyph Interface surrounding the camera.
However, the Plus variant upgrades the front snapper from the 32MP on the vanilla phone to a 50MP lens, completing the 50MP trifecta.
The first Nothing Plus smartphone is also the first device powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. This is said to deliver 10% faster performance and a 30% upgrade in graphics over the Dimensity 7200 Pro.
The Phone (2a) Plus also supports slightly higher charging speeds at 50W compared to the 45W fast charging support on the Phone (2a).
The new device is also confirmed to have 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.
