Ahead of Snapdragon Summit 2024 later this year, a chipset, believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 was spotted on the Geekbench database revealing some of its highlights.

The upcoming flagship chipset from Qualcomm was spotted on the Geekbench database powering a reference device under “Manufacturer Model”.
The device scored 2,884 and 8,840 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. In comparison, the A17 Pro used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max clocked in at 2,846 in single-core and 7,024 in multi-core.
The listing reveals though that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has two cores clocked at 4.09GHz and six cores running at 2.78GHz. Moreover, the reference device ran with Android 15 and 12GB RAM.
The chipset is expected to be built on the new TSMC N3p 3nm process. It is also said to come with custom Oryon CPU cores along with the latest Adreno GPU.
Qualcomm is expected to debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 later this year at the Qualcomm Summit 2024 which is confirmed to take place on October 21-23, 2024 in Maui, Hawaii.
