Apple might be gearing up to enter the smart display market. Reports suggest they’re working on not one but two new devices, each with unique features.
Apple Smart Display Devices with Home OS Rumors
The first, codenamed J595, is said to be a high-end model. It’s rumored to have a large screen, similar to an iPad, and could even have a robotic arm for added flexibility. Imagine it moving or rotating to follow your voice or keep you in the camera frame!
The second device, codenamed J490, is expected to be more affordable. It’s designed primarily for FaceTime calls and controlling smart home gadgets.
Both devices are rumored to run on a new operating system called “HomeOS.” This new software is built on the foundation of tvOS, the system that powers the brand’s TV devices.
If these rumors are true, the company’s smart displays could be a game-changer in the smart home market. Their integration with Apple’s ecosystem, combined with their potential for innovative features, could make them a must-have for many consumers.
