HMD Fusion has just been launched highlighting its modular smartphone design with Fusion outfits. This is the latest addition to the non-Nokia branded phones from the manufacturer that were also revealed recently which include the HMD Skyline and HMD Hyper.

HMD is introducing interchangeable covers for its devices, offering wireless charging, rugged protection, and ring lights for selfies and live streaming. These attach via Smart Pins and can be 3D printed using the open-source Fusion Development Toolkit.
The Fusion offers easy repairs with a semi-transparent plastic shell, fast access to the battery, screen, and key components, and pledges to provide spare parts via iFixit for seven years.

HMD Fusion will be available in the EU market first with a price tag of EUR 249 (around PHP 16,000) and then will arrive in the US market at a later date.
