The heart of the campaign is the company’s purpose of ensuring that TNVS drivers earn a fair profit and increase their purchasing power. It also seeks to provide TNVS drivers with a platform to air their concerns.

The campaign highlights inDrive and Laban TNVS’ commitment to providing passengers with a safe riding experience and fair fares. It looks to do so through its 10% commission model, which creates competitive rates that benefit the drivers and the riding public.

“By keeping our commission low, we can offer competitive rates that benefit everyone involved while continuously innovating to serve all parties. This is what we mean by equitable business – creating a system that works for all, not just a few,” noted Makarenko.

Beyond empowering drivers and serving passengers the Ka-gulong, Kita Tayo! campaign seeks to launch various community-based programs. This way, the company and Laban TNVS can support drivers’ families and uplift Filipino communities.

We are glad to continue working closely with inDrive to create initiatives that reach out to drivers, and this campaign enables us to do just that. Laban TNVS has always been committed to assisting our brothers and sisters in the TNVS community, and we are pleased that inDrive shares the same goal. Rest assured, we will remain vigilant in fighting for justice, fairness, and equality in the industry, while promoting the safety of our roads, drivers, and passengers.”

This is evident in how the global ride-hailing app and the transportation group worked together to organize a flood assistance program for Sitio San Roque in Quezon City during Super Typhoon Carina’s aftermath.

A vow to constantly improve lives, one ride at a time

Makarenko outlined inDrive’s plans for further expansion in the Philippines, citing the company is working to improve and widen its services. Currently, it offers ride-hailing in six cities namely – Bacolod, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, and Metro Manila. The company has revealed that it is looking to expand in key areas like Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga and diversify its partnership network.

Since its relaunch in June 2024, inDrive has reported a 75% ride increase. There also has been an 86% and 96% growth in active users and drivers, respectively.
