Infinix has made some user-friendly design choices here – the retention of a headphone jack, expandable storage, and a SIM slot in the LTE version, extending its functionality.
The tablet’s bezel thickness strikes a good balance, offering improved handling without compromising on screen real estate. This thoughtful design approach enhances the overall usability of the device, making it comfortable to hold for extended periods.
Performance
The Infinix XPAD is powered by a Helio G99 processor, a popular choice in this segment. While not exactly the most powerful chipset out there, it can deliver decent performance for everyday tasks and can handle some gaming, depending on the title and settings.
The device comes with a generous 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD card, and 8GB of RAM. This configuration should suffice for most users’ needs, providing ample space for apps, media, and documents.
Gaming performance is respectable for the price point. HONOR of Kings runs decently at Ultra Resolution and High FPS, though users may want to lower settings for a smoother experience. More demanding titles like Honkai: Star Rail are playable at low to very low presets, acceptable for a tablet in this category.
Camera
The Infinix XPAD features an 8MP camera on both the front and rear. While this setup won’t compete with dedicated photography devices, it provides adequate quality for social media posts and video calls.
The ability to record 2K video at 30fps from both cameras is a nice touch, offering flexibility for content creators on a budget.
Audio and Multimedia
The Infinix XPAD has a quad-speaker setup. The software offers various settings for fine-tuning the sound, and it can fill a small room without noticeable distortion. While the smart audio setting can be hit-or-miss, the ability to manually configure audio settings is appreciated. It’s worth noting that the DTS Sound feature cannot be turned off, which may not suit all users’ preferences.

Charging speeds are decent, with the included charger taking just under 2 hours to fully charge the device from 2%. While not the fastest in the market, it’s reasonable for a tablet in this price range.
Software
Running on XOS based on Android 14, the Infinix XPAD offers a clean and bloatware-free user interface. The overall UI performance is smooth and responsive, enhancing the user experience.
The Game Assistant Panel lets users optimize performance and settings for gaming sessions. An interesting addition is the Folax AI Assistant, powered by ChatGPT.
While it can handle basic queries and app operations, it’s limited to single-question interactions, at least for now, and while it can open apps and say adjust the volume, it can neither set an alarm nor can it show the weather for a location. Hopefully, Infinix can add these capabilities down the road.

The Infinix XPAD is a compelling package for those budget-conscious consumers seeking a capable tablet for everyday use and light gaming. With its attractive design, decent performance, and impressive battery life, it offers good value for its price point.
Available at PHP 7,499 for the Wi-Fi only version and PHP 9,499 for the Wi-Fi + LTE version, the Infinix XPAD positions itself as an affordable option. It may not compete with premium offerings, but it can deliver a well -rounded experience that should satisfy the needs of many users.
