MediaTek has just announced that the “next generation” of Mediatek is coming on October 9. It didn’t quite mention what will be unveiled but it is expected that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will debut.

As of writing this, the company hasn’t revealed much about its next-generation flagship chipset but there have been rumors and leaks around. This includes the report that the next Dimensity 9000 series chipset will feature a Cortex-X925 running at up to 3.63GHz, three Cortex-X4 clocked at up to 2.8GHz, and four Cortex-A725 cores at up to 2.1GHz.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is also expected to be equipped with the Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU which according to a recent benchmark has already looked impressive.
Several manufacturers have also confirmed that they will debut smartphones powered by the Dimensity 9400, such as vivo, OPPO, and OnePlus.
