After the Nothing Community Edition Initiative was announced in March earlier this year, it looks like the company is ready to unveil the Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition. This comes after Nothing teased that a community device was debuting on October 30.
Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition
The Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition mainly is different that the vanilla Phone (2a) in four ways – appearance, packaging box, new wallpapers, and marketing campaign.
The main difference is in the design around the back. Nothing has revealed this device multiple times and features a Phosphoresence glow-in-the-dark aesthetic.
In addition to the change in design, the special edition device will come with custom wallpapers which are said to combine hand-drawn elements and a variety of tools for sketching, digitalizing, AI generating, and more.
Lastly, the box it will come in will match the glow-in-the-dark-like design with the green hue. Moreover, it only showcases one of the two cameras.
Aside from these though, the Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition device will share the same internals as the Phone (2a). These include a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, 45W fast charging, and dual 50MP rear sensors.
