OnePlus has just unveiled OxygenOS 15, the Android 15-based version of its operating system. It brings a new design, more personalization, and AI-powered tools. It’s pretty similar to the update that was introduced in ColorOS 15.
OxygenOS 15 – Open Beta
The latest version of OxygenOS 15 brings with it parallel processing for smoother animations. Moreover, it has revamped icons and a new home screen design. The notification drawer and Quick Settings panel also now have a Split mode.
As far as personalization goes, there are new lock screen enhancements like clock color blending and blurred wallpapers and OneTake for personalized visual experiences.
The new OxygenOS version introduces AI features like:
- OnePlus AI for enhanced photography like AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, and more
- Pass Scan for adding boarding passes to Google Wallet
- AI Notes for better writing and communication
- AI Toolbox for different AI-powered tools
- Circle to Search
- Intelligent Search to access information from Settings, My Files, Notes, and Photos
OnePlus already announced the rollout timeline for the OxygenOS 15 Open Beta and it begins starting October 30 for the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12 R,and OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition. The timeline shared runs until February 2025 for the OnePlus 10R 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G.
