Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, alongside the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, at a recent event in China.
These tablets feature the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 for the vanilla model and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Pro variant.
Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro
First off, both models boast an 11.2-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 3200×2136, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. They are equipped with an 8,850 mAh battery; however, charging speeds differ: the Pad 7 supports up to 45W charging, whereas the Pro model can handle up to 67W.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Pad 7 includes a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera, while the Pad 7 Pro upgrades to a 50 MP rear camera and a 32 MP front camera.
Moreover, both devices run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, likely based on Android 15, although this has yet to be confirmed. Additionally, each tablet features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Storage options for both models include configurations of 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB RAM/storage. The Pro variant also offers a unique configuration of 12/512GB. The dimensions are identical for both tablets at 251.22 x 173.42 x 6.18 mm, with each weighing in at exactly 500g. They will be available in black, blue, and green.
