Huawei unveiled the HUAWEI MatePad 12 X in the Philippines, the latest member of the MatePad series. It is designed for users who want efficiency without the bulkiness of a laptop. It was introduced along with the upcoming HUAWEI WiFi routers.
HUAWEI MatePad 12 X
The MatePad 12 X is built around a 12-inch 2800×1840 IPS LCD panel with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and a PaperMatte Display. The PaperMatter Display utilizes Nanoscale Anti-glare Etching technology that reduces the screen’s glare and emits soft light to make the display easy for the eyes. It also has an ultra-hydrophobic, oil-resistant film that resists fingerprint stains.
It has PC-level WPS Office, exclusively available on HUAWEI MatePad tablets. The comprehensive office suite allows you to accomplish tasks as you would on a traditional PC like formatting text, inserting images, creating tables, and utilizing functions in spreadsheets.
The tablet has a 10100mAh battery in a compact frame which is said to sustain up to 14 hours of video playback or up to 12 hours of web browsing. It supports 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge and Turbo Charging Mode which tops up the battery in 85 minutes.
The PC-level bundle of the latest MatePad includes the HUAWEI NearLink Keyboard and the HUAWEI M-Pencil 3rd generation. The former is suitable for long writing sessions and integrated with shortcut keys.
Meanwhile, the 3rd generation of the HUAWEI M-Pencil is powered by NearLink and adds a layer of creativity and precision on the MatePad 12 X to your experience.
The HUAWEI MatePad 12 X comes pre-installed with the HUAWEI GoPaint App and comes with over 150 professional types of brushes that include Ink Wash and Oil Painting. It also features a Realistic Textures canvas.
