The nubia Flip II has been spotted on the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification website, offering a sneak peek at its key specifications and design.
nubia Flip II Details
The nubia Flip II ditches the original Flip’s circular cover display for a larger, more rectangular option. This 3-inch AMOLED display boasts 422 x 682 pixels, providing a more spacious canvas for checking notifications, taking selfies, or controlling media playback without unfolding the phone.
When unfolded, the nubia Flip II reveals a familiar sight – a 6.85-inch AMOLED main screen with a 1,188 x 2,970 pixels resolution. This display promises vibrant colors and sharp details for an immersive viewing experience.
Moreover, the nubia Flip II is set to launch with a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, offering smooth performance for everyday tasks. It features a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, with an upgraded 16MP sensor in the front.
The foldable also has a slightly smaller battery, rated at 4,225mAh, compared to the original Flip’s 4,310mAh, but should provide enough power for a full day on a single charge.
The Flip II is a promising mid-range foldable phone with a larger cover display, upgraded front camera, and familiar internal components. It is expected to launch in Q1 2025, and its real-world performance and comparison with competitors will be evaluated.
