OnePlus Ace 5 Pro – Snapdragon 8 Elite

Leakster Digital Chat Station replied to a comment on Weibo that asked which mid-range device will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite. To which the leakster replied, “The Pro version of this machine competes for the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite this year” (directly translated). This could hint that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is priced at around CNY 3,300 (around PHP 27,100).

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is expected to arrive with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera and a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto camera.

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station reported that the base Ace 5 will come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X2 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is also said to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 16GB LPPDR5x RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0, and support for 100W fast charging to top up a 6000+ mAh battery. For optics, it is said to have a 50MP-led triple rear camera and a 16MP front snapper.

The Ace 5 Pro could very well share the same display, battery, and main camera.

OnePlus has yet to announce the OnePlus Ace 5 series but it is expected to arrive in November or December in China. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro could be a China-exclusive device, while the Ace 5 might be released in the global market as the OnePlus 13R.

We’ll just have to wait for an official announcement.
