Xiaomi has officially introduced the latest budget-friendly Redmi device – the Redmi A4 5G in India. The device is a successor to the Redmi A3 introduced in February earlier this year and is among the most affordable 5G devices in the market today.
Redmi A4 5G
The A4 5G is built around a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate is pretty surprising given that at this price range, you mostly see a 90Hz refresh rate being offered.
The device is has a 5MP front snapper and a 50MP-led rear camera setup. The company also boasts a Halo Design glass back design, another feature that is quite impressive at this price point.
Under the hood, the budget-friendly Redmi smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 coupled with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It also has a 5160mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The company also promised 2 years of software upgrades and 4 years of security updates.
