HONOR Philippines has etched its name in history by securing a Guinness World Record on January 6, 2024, for “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously.” This was accomplished with a total of 264 participants simultaneously dropping the company’s latest device, the HONOR X9c 5G, ahead of its official launch.

The record-breaking event showcases the exceptional durability of the HONOR X9c 5G, which features an all-angle triple defense design and has earned an SGS 5-Star rating for Drop Resistance. The device has demonstrated impressive resilience by withstanding drops from heights of up to two meters, surpassing industry standards.

The HONOR X9c 5G boasts numerous durability features, including an IP65M rating, allowing the device to withstand submersion up to 25cm deep for five minutes. The device also boasts a remarkable temperature tolerance, capable of functioning in extreme conditions ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
The official launch of the HONOR X9c 5G is scheduled for January 10, 2024, at 6 PM, and will be streamed live on Facebook. Those who will pre-order the device from January 10 to 24, 2025 will get a chance to win a Rolex watch.
